It is a collection of Mediterranean ideas from Spain and Northern Africa and visions of the Owners placed into the tropics of North Queensland. Entering you immediately feel that you are in another part of the world. The spacious open screened verandahs offer a relaxing sitting area plus the dining area which looks out to the internal courtyard garden. Enter the welcoming inner sanctum with it’s amazing 5 meter ceilings you will find an open plan kitchen area, comfortable sitting area and TV – Reading nook. The exceptionally well equipped kitchen is every home Chef’s dream. Entertaining will be so easy. Having the 5 meter ceilings plus plantation bifolding doors opening to the verandah sitting area captures the cool sea breezes. Air conditioning is not required. Through the Morrocan carved timber doors off the living area are 2 queen bedrooms. The main bedroom’s ensuite has a spa tub with rain shower overhead. You can sit and relax in the spa and gaze at the stars and moon above. The second queen bedroom has its’ own ensuite bathroom. There is a 3rd bedroom offering 2 king singles or if needed zip together into a king bed. This room has been designed to also be a relaxing day room. The main bathroom – laundry gives the 3rd bedroom it’s own ensuite. All of the bedrooms are air conditioned and all have their own TV – DVD. Stepping out from the dining area you enter the internal pebbled courtyard with feature Frangipani Tree plus the traditional Morrocan fountain. Walk across the path and you are in the external entertaining area with BBQ and kitchenette. There is even a fire pot for those cool nights. Walk up the stairs to the cool deep plunge pool and sun deck . Take another flight of stairs and you can relax in the hammocks on the roof top terrace. Lillypads by the Beach is the ideal holiday house. Designed for relaxing with areas for everyone to enjoy their own private time or if entertaining as a group is important there are even choices there. From Lillypads by the Beach it is just a 15 minute stroll along the beach path to Mission Beach Shopping Village. Mission Beach Shopping Village offers a selection of casual dining eateries and takeaway cafes plus some great shops. Less than 80 meters away is the beach.
