Come and visit a piece of Mission Beach History and stay at The Ole School House just moments from the centre of Mission Beach. This beautifully renovated Head Master’s house is set high on a hill overlooking the native foreshore, Coral Sea and beyond to Dunk Island.

The Ole School House was originally built as the headmasters residence on the Mission Beach State School in the early 1950’s and remained that right up until the early 1990’s. Luckily the property was bought when the school was moved to its new location and was completely renovated to create this blissful residence namely “Ole School House”.

The School House still features beautiful hardwood floors with open plan living that spills out onto the lovely large verandah to enjoy the spectacular view. The property consists of two air-conditioned queen bedrooms and a study with a king single bed, so perfect for that romantic getaway and great for a family holiday.

Situated over the road from the beach and just a very short walk to the main shopping village in Mission Beach, the property is perfectly placed to either relax on the verandah watching the world go by or walk to dinner in one of our fantastic eateries. The Ole School House sits on 4 acres of land giving plenty of room for the kids to play cricket or slide down the grass slopes! You can find Lilly ponds scattered throughout the tropical garden which backs right up to lush rainforest at the rear.

Perfect for the fishermen among us with plenty of room for a second car or boat and the Clump Point boat ramp less than a kilometre down the road, access the Great Barrier Reef and our beautiful outer Islands with ease.
