Gecko’s Cottage is for you – offering open plan design ideal for a romantic getaway. Travelling with children or friends …. Not a problem Gecko’s Cottage can comfortable sleep up to 4 guests. You can laze on the lounge and take in the views to the Coral Sea, you can laze on the verandah and take in the views to the Coral Sea, you can laze in the pool and take in the views to the Coral Sea, you can even take in the views to the Coral Sea when cooking that something special.
Gecko’s Cottage is positioned on the absolute beachfront at Mission Beach. You almost feel as if you can touch the sea. Just a short easy stroll along the beachfront path and you are in the village of Mission Beach. If cooking is not your choice there are a number of great cafes and restaurants to choose from in The Village.

Wonderful place in a great location. Absolute beachfront. Love sleeping to the sound of the ocean. Amazingly well equipped kitchen and outdoor amenities. Open floorplan is wonderful. Windows screened and open for lots of air and light. Wouldn't change a thing. Thanks to Hilary, Danielle, Emma, and Vicky for being such wonderful hosts.

This property is beautifully presented. Extremely well equipped,the best we have stayed in. Clean and functional. The beach is at your front door,and a short stroll to shops and cafes.

We were looking for somewhere to have a relaxing family holiday by the beach and Gecko's Cottage provided us with the perfect base for just that. Location is fantastic, absolute beachfront, which provided the perfect place to relax and enjoy our surroundings. The pool provided us with somewhere for our swims and the kids were able to sleep through the sunrises! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here though and would love to return in the future.

Gecko’s Cottage is an amazing place to stay in Mission Beach. Right on the beachfront at the end of the road it is peaceful and private. The swimming pool and outdoor deck area is wonderful. The cottage has all you could need for a getaway, the kitchen was great. Communication with Mission Beach Holidays was so easy and they were very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place for couples and families and will be back again!!

The original cottage was not available, but Vicki was quick to respond and offered us an upgrade for the same price. This worked out well for us as Geckos beach house is beautiful, right on the beach, just a short walk from restaurants and shops, but in a very quiet spot. The pool and the deck were lovely to spend the day in, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We were able to have our two dogs on the property too which they loved, though it's not fully fenced and you would need to keep a close eye on any pets. The holiday homes managed by Vicki all look to be of a very high standard. There seemed to be everything you need plus more, along with some nice touches. The aircon was turned on for our arrival and jazz music was softly playing giving a very welcoming feel

This cottage is a dream come true - right on the beach, wonderful open space, perfect for families with own pool, bbq, open kitchen, dining - just divine. I loved to wake up with the sunrise & head out along the beach for an early morning run, swim in the pool outdoor breakfast on the balcony & enjoy relaxing in the cool ocean breeze even during the hottest days. Sunset dinner & drinks every day made this holiday complete.
