We had such a great stay, a beautiful place, great rooms & facilities and an amazing outdoor area with views out to Dunk Island and down the beach. So close to the water, down the stairs, and out the gate to 10kms of pristine coastline. Incredible sunrise and shaded beach in the arvo. So much to do, from island hopping and fishing charters to exploring the inland hikes, waterfalls and swimming holes. We were torn between spending time exploring and hanging at the house - it really is a beautiful property to chill at, the pictures don't do it justice.

This house is absolutely beautiful! One of the best places we have ever stayed in. We will definitely return soon. So peaceful. The ocean is literally right on your doorstep. Listening to the waves all night long is heaven. The beach itself is such a joy to walk on. Our host was so helpful, flexible and responsive! The house truly is a place of warmth, style and true beauty. A true paradise if you're wanting to just unwind and relax.

Our multigenerational family group loved our stay at this beach front property. It was an easy (20 m) walk down the path to the beautiful waters of the Coral Sea. We watched the moon and sun rise from the deck and felt at peace. The house is well appointed - comfy beds, a good BBQ a nice plunge pool. We were sorry to leave and will definitely return asap!

The Artists House is located on an amazing stretch of beach with wonderful views directly onto the beach from the main rooms. The house has a lovely vibe. One thing to note for sun lovers is that it is built to maximise shade cover (not surprising for the heat of the summer). The house is very comfortable and well equipped and was an ideal place to reset and re-charge batteries which was the purpose of our trip.

This luxury property is the perfect R&R destination. The house was clean and exceptionally designed with inside/outside living, break taking views from every room and everything we needed. The location is idyllic on the beach front. We enjoyed long beach walks, swimming in the pool and outdoor family meals.

Fantastic location south of Mission Beach looking out to Dunk Island. We were a family of 4 and the house was perfect for us. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, swimming in the pool and cooking in the very well appointed kitchen.

An absolutely gorgeous house and stunning location! Spacious, stylish and well laid out - perfect for big groups or multiple families. The only downside was there was no wi-fi available - definitely something to suggest as an addition to the facilities. But will definitely file this one away for future family get-togethers!!!

The photographs don’t do it justice, you truly have to experience the wonderful luxury of the house and it’s views, beach walks and relaxing on the deck listening to the waves to really appreciate what the location has to offer.
